Start with a jewelry GLB prepared by DYJ Atelier or your CAD team. External assets are checked and mapped to supported jewelry materials.

Gemstones, metal finishes and the scene around them each have their own controls.

Diamond rendering: Custom-built WebGL shaders that calculate realistic refraction, internal reflections, and fire/sparkle specifically for gemstones.
Metal rendering: Pre-calibrated physically based rendering (PBR) setups for Yellow Gold, White Gold, Rose Gold, and Platinum.
Scene controls: Configure HDRI lighting intensity, shadow softness, background color, and camera limits to frame the model.

Questions about the viewer

Hosting, supported devices and preparing your models.

Do I need to host the 3D models myself?

Not for a managed DYJ viewer pilot. Hosting, domain licensing, asset limits, and integration responsibility are confirmed in the pilot scope before deployment.

Does the viewer work on mobile browsers?

The viewer supports responsive sizing and touch gestures for rotation and zoom on current WebGL-capable mobile browsers. Performance depends on the device and model size, so each asset is tested on target devices.

Can I use files not generated by DYJ Atelier?

While the viewer accepts standard .glb formats, it is specifically calibrated to read mesh hierarchies and material indices from DYJ Atelier files to automatically apply our proprietary diamond and metal shaders. External files require manual material mapping in the Viewer Editor.
